Our portfolio for paper & packaging includes  kaolin, ground calcium carbonate (GCC), precipitated calcium carbonate (PCC). White pigments, these products are essential mineral components, as they improve the physical characteristics of finished products and help to reduce their production cost.

Our Coating Mineral Products for Paper

Coating minerals are applied to the paper surface in a thin, even film to produce opaque, white, smooth and glossy paper with no increase in weight.

We offer a versatile, high brightness,  coating kaolin which is applied in the production of a variety of paper and paperboard grades.

The high brightness and fine particle size of our Kaolin contribute to sheet brightness, sheet gloss, and print gloss. As a result it is an excellent choice for top coating applications for coated paper and paperboard. The optimized particle size distribution provides a uniform layer which improves appearance, ink receptivity, and improved gluability in coated board applications.

Our Filler Mineral Product For Paper

Filler pigments have an increasingly important role in the success of uncoated woodfree, newsprint and supercalendered papers, as expectations in terms of print performance are constantly rising.

Our Kaolin Products are tailored for filling applications requiring low abrasion and residue. It provides above average brightness and low b value for this type of application. These qualities result from our water washed manufacturing technique applied to selected crudes. Our Kaolin can be added to either the thick or thin stock stream with dilution water for optimum dispersion.
